Molly Devon, author, artist, publisher and mother painted these 5 paintings and presented them to Joseph Bean to commemorate the opening of the Leather Archives & Museum. She explains that it wasn’t because she was a famed artist; it wasn’t because she wanted to have something in the museum and it wasn’t because she was asked to. Simply put, it was just something she felt, as a submissive, she should do for Joseph as the new Executive Director of the Leather Archives. Molly is probably better known as the co-author of Screw the Roses; Send me the Thorns, which she co-wrote with Philip Miller. The Book was published in 1995 by their own publishing company, and is now in its fifteenth printing. Molly met Philip in 1991 at the Dressing For Pleasure Gala. They immediately became Dom and sub; scening, loving, making bad jokes, and writing together. Since the untimely death of Philip, much of Molly's time is occupied by the continued operation of Mystic Rose Books, Inc. She now bottoms primarily to her three grown children. |
