Now showing in the Guest Artist Gallery Of Myths and Mortals

The G.A.G. Contemporary Fetish Gallery at the LA&M features works by renowned and emerging fetish artists from around the world. Curator Chester Munro assembles erotic exhibitions that entice and inspire all patrons from hardcore fetish enthusiasts to the tourist voyeur.

Women's Leather History Project Gains Momentum in 2011

The Leather Archives & Museum's Women's Leather History Project (WLHP) celebrated a momentum building year in 2011. The second year of the WLHP saw an exhibit opening, the naming of a project historian, contributions to the collections and plenty of media attention.

The LA&M Announces Veterans/Active Duty Discount

The Leather Archives & Museum is proud to announce that beginning this year, we will be offering a 50% discount to veterans and active duty members of the United States Armed Forces who visit the museum during normal operational hours. This will make the rate for admission to the museum $5.00 to those visitors.

To achieve the maximum grant offered by Folsom Street Events, the LA&M has initiated a fundraising drive to help defray the costs associated with the processing and display of this rich treasure trove of resources.

The Leather Archives & Museum is a library, museum and archives pertaining to Leather, fetishism, sadomasochism, and alternative sexual practices. The geographic collection scope is worldwide and includes all sexual orientations and genders. The library collection contains published books, magazines, scholarly publications, films and electronic resources related to the subject matter. The museum collection contains original erotic art and artifacts from alternative sex organizations and individuals. The archival collection contains unpublished papers and records from notable activists, artists, businesses and organizations related to the subject matter.
